Rev. Ronald L. Sparks has been serving in ministry for almost 20 years and is a native of Toledo, OH. He “preacher’s kid” (PK) and is following in the footsteps of his mother, Rev. Shirley A. Sparks, who is the Pastor of Walls Memorial Chapel AME Zion Church in Toledo, OH. Rev. Sparks is a U.S. Veteran in which he served six years in United State Air Force.

Reverend Sparks holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, BusinessManagement, from the University of Maryland UniversityCollege. He received his Master of Divinity, Drew UniversityTheological SchoolRev. Sparks accepted his call to ministry in 1997 and was mentored by his father in the ministry, Rev.Dr. Kenneth L. Saunders, formerPastor of North Stelton AME Church in Piscataway, NJ. In 1998,Rev. Sparks received his first ordination as an Itinerate Deacon and inApril2001 he received his second ordination as an Itinerate Elder.In 2005, Rev. Sparks began his pastoral ministry atSt. PaulAME Church in South Bound Brook, NJ.

Currently Rev. Sparks serves as the Pastor of Bethel AMEChurch in Freehold NJ
